When I was about 6 years old, I met my paternal family for the first time. My dad came and got me from my maternal grandmother’s house (she raised me) and took me to meet his parents, my grandparents.
My grandmother thought me to make those little knotted friendship bracelets. And this was the day I fell in love with crafting. Over the years she sparked my interest in so many cool crafts and I continued to learn new ones after I became an adult.
In 2007 a friend of mine, a scrapbooking nut introduced me to scrapbooking and there began a love of the Cricut Machine, this addiction evolved over the years into what I do today.
I have been a blogger since 2012 when I started Frugal Fort Wayne and Beyond a coupon blog that progressed into by Pink, a craft and recipe blog. In 2019 I decided my crafts needed their own space and Color Me Crafty was born.
Here on Color Me Crafty, I love to craft in color! I love to try new things and make unique projects. I also enjoy giving away free craft downloads.
