By now you know how amazing the Cricut Machine is. But you should know that different types of vinyl are not created equally. Today I am going to help you to find the best heat transfer vinyl for your Cricut Machines and Silhouette Cameo.
What brand is the best heat transfer vinyl?
The Best HTV Vinyl to use is Siser Brand Vinyl. It is my go-to, for quality heat transfer vinyl, there is other specialty vinyl that I find a good option depending on what I am doing. I will talk more about those later.
I like Siser because of the Easyweed so you don't have to spend a lot of time weeding it's awesome at high temperatures and is a hot peel. And always buy this brand in vinyl rolls because I use it so much.
For me, Siser Easyweed HTV is the best choice for my normal everyday shirt making. Don't get me wrong, just because it is a good htv, even a great htv doesn't mean there aren't other great brands out there.
Make sure you apply any vinyl you use vinyl according to the directions of the manufacturer for the best results. Some brands If you follow all of the instructions the final result will not only last for a very long time your vinyl will not peel in the washing machine.
How Can I Make My HTV Stick Better?
You will have to check the pressing times for each type of heat transfer vinyl will have a different time, temp, and also pressure. The wrong heat press time, the wrong temperature on your press or the wrong pressure will all cause your t-shirt vinyl to pull up.
Also if you are using more than a single color of HTV, and are layering several different types, you will need to pay special attention to the time and temp of each. You may need to do some testing to get it right if layering different types of vinyl.
Remember, some vinyl requires a lower temperature. Some require less pressure. Others require the opposite.

So, What Is The Best Heat Transfer Vinyl?
There are lots of different brands out there. The best htv vinyl is going to depend on what you are doing and what you are looking for. Siser is my go-to brand for easy weeding heat transfer vinyl.
Theirs is the thinnest brand I have used and I like the finish. Siser is the perfect choice if you are looking for ease of use.
Cricut Vinyl is more of a matte finish. It is also thicker.
In my opinion, it is a good idea to try out a few different brands. What I dislike in a brand, you may love! Buy a few heat transfer sheets and pull out your Cricut EasyPress 2 and scrap fabric and try them out.
