Make a card for Santa Clause or a sign for the cookie jar with this Free Cookies For Santa SVG. This is a great project you can do with your kids.
You can make other crafts with this SVG file too. This was just one idea I had for it while I was making it.
You can also put this SVG file onto a t-shirt like I did. This will make the kids so excited when they see it. They might even think you know Santa Clause.
Or you can put this onto a tin to keep your kid’s fingers out of the cookie jar! They definitely wouldn’t want to eat Santa’s cookies unless they want to end up on the naughty list. You can do this with cardstock paper or stickers.
How To Get The Cookies For Santa SVG
I’ve made it really easy for you to get this SVG file so that you can get straight to work on your craft.
Since this is a large digital download, I have to email it to you. Just enter your name and email address in the form at the end of this blog post and I will send that straight over to your inbox.
Once you open the email, there will be a link inside you can click to download.
This will download a zip folder to your computer which has an SVG version of this graphic as well as a PNG file, a DXF file, and an EPS file inside.
If you know what you want to do with it, you can upload the design file into your design software such as Cricut Design Space or Adobe Illustrator. If you don’t know what you’re doing with it yet, save it somewhere you can find it when you’re ready to use it.
How To Use Your Cookies For Santa SVG
You can print it onto heat transfer vinyl which you can use on mugs, clothing, tote bags, and placemats.
If you want to make a Santa plate to put the cookies on Christmas Eve with your kids, you can press the HTV onto a plate from your local dollar store or Target.
Since I use a Cricut cutting machine, I upload my cut file into Cricut Design Space. Then I can modify the graphic to whatever size I want and change the colors.
You can also use a Silhouette machine with Silhouette Studio or even just a classic printer. If you use a printer, you will need to cut out the graphic yourself. A Cricut or Silhouette would do this for you.
This SVG file has a transparent background, so you can use it on any project with any color background. This gives you so many more possibilities!
What heat transfer machine should you use?
There are a lot of heat transfer machines available, and it can be really confusing trying to decide which one to buy. In this blog post, I compare the Cricut EasyPress vs. the Heat Press.
What supplies do I need to make a sign for Santa?
If you and your kids want to make a sign to put next to the plate of cookies for Santa, you will need:
- Cricut Machine (Check Which Cricut Should I Buy)
- Weeding Tool
- Paper (to print the SVG onto)
- Cardstock or decorative paper
- Gluestick or hot glue gun
