The standard Cricut Easypress is available in one size, i.e., 9×9, suitable for tees, handbags, and hoodies. Since this press doesn’t weigh much, you can easily handle it to complete your craft projects.
On the flip side, the Cricut Easypress 2 comes in three different sizes, which are 6×7, 9×9, and 12×10. You can pick a machine according to your projects and create seamless designs with it.

Do I Need The Cricut Easypress Mat?
Although you can use a towel, for the best results I do recommend that you also get the mat for your Cricut Easy Press. The reason I recommend the EasyPress mat is because it is designed to work on any flat surface. I
t is also made with special materials made to work with your new EasyPress.
The original EasyPress is no longer being made but you can still get these heat presses in 3 different sizes. All of them are compatible with any Cricut machine and tons of different materials.
I love the ease of use and really enjoy using mine with infusible ink and for custom t-shirts. And the Cricut EasyPress mini is perfect for baby onesies and smaller projects too.
So if you are looking for your finished projects to last a long time, then you need to ditch the home iron and ironing board and grab a Cricut Heat Press.
If you love working with vinyl, foil, and glitter clings, you must ditch the regular iron and bring home a heat press. The Cricut Easypress 2 is the newest market entry which flaunts its built-in control panel, reliable temperature controls, and handy sizes.
