I have so much to say about this awesome farm fresh upcycled saw home decor idea. It’s simple, but really cute and you can hang it almost anywhere!
If you have just a few minutes, can find an old saw at the thrift store, and an inclination to turn a saw into a wall hanging, well, you’re in the right place, because there is a trick, you know. LOL!
And, I’ll be honest, I was a little concerned that I might ruin my saw blade trying to figure out how to get lettering on it without using vinyl. So, I bought two. And there were several more at the thrift store, so I would think you could find some at your local store.
If a long blade isn’t your thing, you could even do the same with a round saw blade.
The tutorial will work on any shape saw blade and the style will look awesome on that, too. You’ll just want to make sure that any paint on the saw blade is removed, then you’re good.
So, a little elbow grease, if there’s old paint on your saw blade, but still, not a big deal.
And you’ve got your wall art all done without a cutting machine. Woohoo!
How to Make an Upcycled Saw Farm Fresh Sign
Since I wanted to make this easy wall decor idea without a cutting machine (just for funzies–also I was out of black vinyl), it could have been one of those projects that just get put off forever.
But then I had this easy idea for getting some letters onto metal that really wasn’t as big of a deal as you might think.
Hint: It involves a pencil, a stencil and a few minutes of time.
And that’s it. Isn’t that fabulous?!
