Are you looking for the best places to find SVG bundles for commercial use? I am going to share the best resources with you in this blog post!

There are so many cool things you can make with your Cricut or Silhouette machine. And you might even be wondering if you can sell this stuff.

Yes, you can!

But, if you are using any designs on your crafts that you didn’t make yourself, you need to make sure you have rights for commercial use. This includes any SVG files you’ve downloaded from other websites.

Okay cool, but what exactly does that mean and how do you know what you can and can’t do with your SVG files?

What are commercial use licenses?

A commercial license gives you the legal right to use something to reproduce, market, sell, and so on. But, it’s important to note that not all commercial licenses are the same.

Some licenses have limits on how many products you can make. Others limit how you can use it. It’s important to read the terms and conditions of every commercial license before you start selling your handmade goods!

Whenever you download an SVG file, look for information regarding what you can and can’t do with it. And if you ever aren’t sure, consider reaching out to the creator for clarification.

What are SVG files?

SVG files are scalable vector graphics. This sounds really fancy, but it’s not! It’s just a file type, similar to any file on your computer.

The reason SVG files are awesome for crafters is that you can scale the design to whatever size you need for your craft without the design getting blurry.

You upload the SVG file with your design into your cutting machine software. Here you can change the colors, size, and text to suit your project.

Then, you can print the design onto adhesive vinyl or HTV to use on your crafts.

When you find SVG bundles for commercial use, you can make products to sell. You can make this your full-time job, or you can sell products like I do to pay for your hobby!

What can you make with a Cricut machine that you can sell?

Cutting machines, like the Cricut Explore, are so cool because you can make so many neat things to sell. Some ideas of things that sell well include:

  • apparel (such as t-shirts, hoodies, and so on)
  • accessories
  • tote bags
  • stickers
  • home decor (like wood signs, towels, coasters, and so on)

Can I use free SVG for commercial?

While some designers don’t mind if you use their free SVG files to sell products, most do. After all, they put in a lot of hard work to make that design for you to use!

It’s important that you check the terms of any free SVG bundles that you have downloaded before you start selling your products.

(This also applies to any free PNG, DXF, PDF, JPG, or EPS files that you have downloaded for free.)

When looking for SVG bundles for commercial use, I recommend looking at other creators’ shops, e-commerce platforms, and so on.

Creative Fabrica

Another great website for finding SVG bundles for commercial use for your products is Creative Fabrica.

Sometimes you can find free designs to use, but always make sure to read the licensing rules before selling anything with that design!

But they also have some really nice low-cost designs. In the browser area of the website, you can search based on category, price, commercial use license types, and more.

With each design, you can choose the license type you want to purchase. The cost of commercial licenses will cost more than personal use licenses. But, if you are going to sell products, you need a commercial license.
