Sublimation is a way to transfer ink to a special garment with heat.

Trust me, sublimation crafts are much easier to make than the word might sound. Honestly, couldn’t they have picked a simpler word to use?

The first time I did a sublimation craft, I was overwhelmed. But it turns out that it is actually really easy.

How To Use The Blessed Mama PNG To Make A T-Shirt

Before you start, you will need a few supplies and tools.

• Sublimation Paper
• Infusible Ink
• 1 Sublimation-Ready Shirt
• Lint Roller
• EasyPress

The PNG comes with a high-resolution, transparent background, so it is really easy to use. You don’t need to make any changes. Just upload it to your design software and it is ready to print!

Here are all the steps you will need to follow.

1. Print the artwork onto sublimation paper. Make sure you let the ink dry on the paper completely before moving on to the next step. Don’t forget to mirror!
2. Once the ink is dry, you can put your sublimation paper print face down onto your blank t-shirt. (If you aren’t sure what blank t-shirt to use, get my top picks in this blog post!) And make sure your t-shirt is free of lint before you do this step. Lint can ruin your finished product.
3. With a heat press machine, press the sublimation paper into the blank in order to transfer the ink. (Learn about the best heat press machine here!)

And voila! Just like that, you have made a sublimation project with this blessed mama PNG.

See, it’s not as hard as it sounds.

What You Can Make With Sublimation

One of the most popular crafts is clothing including t-shirts, hoodies, and so on.

You can also make tote bags with sublimation. I think doing it this way is great because sublimation designs are much less prone to fading when compared to HTV which is great for an item that will see some wear and tear, like a tote bag might.
