    You and the kiddos can work together on this craft to get an amazing joint cherry pie ornament. You guys can also work on them separately and each crate your own.

    Materials

    Instructions

    1. Cut your design using your chosen method.
    2. Cut out the following: Smaller circle in red, Larger circle and all the lines in light brown, Two tiny leaves in green felt
    3. Hot glue the jar lid to the ring to secure the two together.
    4. With the hot glue, affix the center of the lid to the large light brown felt circle.
    5. One dot at a time, place a dot of hot glue along the bottom edge of the ring where it meets the felt circle. Pinch this dot as you lift it up on the side of the ring to make a crinkle in the pie crust. Repeat all the way around the ring, about every ⅓ inch.
    6. Make the lattice top by Weaving the long lengths of brown felt and hot gluing them in place on top of each other.
    7. Fill the center of the lid and ring with polyfill and place the red circle of felt on top, hot gluing it in place around the edge where the crust and the red circle meet.
    8. Place the lattice on top of the red circle and hot glue it in place, then trim the lattice to fit nicely on top.
    9. Glue the little green leaves on top of the pie.
    10. Add a loop of yarn to the top of one side to hang your ornament and enjoy!
