Gemini Duets are a great way to get an amazing 2 color Valentine’s day sign done with 1 sheet. This Happy Valentine’s day sign was made using 1 sheet of acrylic.
I did have to do 2 cuts because of the way I wanted the sign to look.
I wanted to make something a little different this year for my valentines home decor this year.
I was tired of the plain old solid wooden signs so I took a little inspiration from them and thought the best thing to do was to use my Gemini Duets and make this adorable sign with the 2 tone acrylic.
When I decided to make it I didn’t know if I was going to do it as a Valentine gift or just decor for my home.
I knew whatever I ended up doing, would be amazing for Valentine’s Day decorations. I ended up hanging the mine in my office and it looks adorable.
Happy Valentines Day Sign
This sign was made with Gemini duets. The acrylic isn’t something that you can run out and get at Michael stores I got my Gemini duets from the OMTech Laser website.
When I saw the red and white I thought that this was one of the best things to use to make Valentine’s Day signs because both colors make you think of love and Valentine’s day.
And although the Gemini duets are made for laser cutting it’s only 1/16 inch so I’m gonna have to test out cutting it with my Cricut too.
You only need a few simple things to make this sign.
- 1 sheet of gemini duets
- OMTech Laser Cutter
- super glue
If you want you can use something for weeding, I just used my fingernail.
