How To Make A Clothespin Planter
Making your own clothespin planter is a lot easier than you would think. The materials that you will need can be found at your local Walmart or a local craft store.
Materials
- 2 5-ounce tuna cans, cleaned and dried
- 42 clothespins (buy them in bulk here)
- 6 rolls of washi tape (buy in bulk here)
- 1 pair of craft scissors
- Artificial floral picks
Instructions
- Measure a length of washi tape to fit the front of the clothespin. Cut and smooth onto the clothespin.
- Do the same to the backside of the clothespin that faces the front. Repeat both steps, alternating the different patterns of washi tape, until all the clothespins are covered.
- Attach the clothespins to the tuna can, making sure to push the clothespin all the way down. We used 21 clothespins per tuna can and used 3 patterns of washi tape per can.
