How To Make The Cricut Shadow Box Step-By-Step

Alright, now it’s time to make your Cricut shadow box.

Firstly, upload the file to your chosen design software. I used Cricut Design Space for this project.

Upload your cut file into Cricut Design on your computer to make the necessary adjustments.

Secondly, in your design program, resize the design to fit the dimensions of your box.

Some boxes may be different sizes, so this step is crucial to ensure the design fits.

Resize the design to fit in Cricut Design space to fit the size of the shadow box you're using.

    Mirror the vinyl words.

Adust the cutting mats so the materials will fit.

Adjust the mats in Cricut Design Space on your computer.

Once the design is ready, cut all the materials using your cutting machine.

Line your paper up on the cutting mat.

Next, weed out the design by removing excess card stock and vinyl.

Weed all the vinyl after you've finished cutting with your Cricut machine.

Assemble the shadow box layers using your paper and foam the way it instructs you to do on the screen.

Assemble the layered snowman design that will live inside your box using your cut out pieces.

Then, add the vinyl letters to the inside of the box.

Apply the vinyl to the glass using transfer tape.

    Lastly, reassemble the box.

Add the assembled snowman to the inside of your box and add the back panel to keep it secure.

And that’s it! Now, you can show your winter shadow box in your home alongside your other decor.

Or, you can give this as a gift instead to a friend or family member.
