Paper flowers are something that everyone wants to make once they purchase a new Cricut cutting machine. In this easy-to-follow DIY paper flower tutorial I will show you how to will your paper flowers like a pro without a quilling tool!

This fun paper flower craft is a great skill to learn if you plan on making Shadow Boxes. You can also embellish cards with them, you can even use the paper roses as wedding bouquets and so much more!

What Do I Need For These Easy Paper Flowers?

That’s all you need to make this paper flower DIY craft. I like to use a 60 lb weight piece of paper. The weight of the paper will have a big impact on just how sturdy your paper flowers are and also how they look.

So the title says 15 Cricut flowers. I am giving you 1, just sign up below to grab the free SVG but you can also purchase a file that includes all 15 of these beauties. The file will also include a PDF of what each flower looks like!

How To Make Flowers Out Of Paper?

Once you download the files all you have to do is upload the correct format into Design Space. My flowers are pre-sized and come out to about 1 and a half inches around, but you can resize them to fit your needs.

From there cut them out and roll using your Cricut Needle Nose Tweezers making sure to follow the easy step-by-step instructions below. And that’s it, once you’re don’t rolling you have a beautiful flower made out of paper you can use anywhere!

These adorable flowers are so easy to make! I even sometimes get my kids in on the action. They love rolling paper flowers.

How To Make Flowers Out Of Paper

Cricut Paper Flowers are a great way to add some pizazz to any paper craft. Watch this video tutorial and learn how to make the most beautiful paper flowers!

Instructions

  1. Gather all of your supplies. Download the flower SVG above and upload to Cricut Design Space. supplies to make cricut paper flowes
  2. Place the paper onto your green or blue Cricut Mat and cut. multipal cricut machines cutting
  3. When the machine is done cutting pull out the mat. colorful paper on cricut mat
  4. Carefully "weed" the paper using your hands or spatula. weeding paper flowers from a blue cricut mat
  5. Using the tweezers roll your paper flowers. Check the video for clarification on how to roll them. grabbing the end of cut cardstock with tweezers
  6. Continue rolling until you get about halfway done. using tweezers to roll flowers
  7. Remove the tweezers and finish rolling with your fingers. rolling flowe with hands
  8. Once I have finished rolling I like to let my flower relax, I do this by letting it go and letting expand. losing a flower
  9. Use your hot glue gun to secure the bottom. gluing the bottom of flower made of paper

Notes

You can get 2 roses out of a letter-size piece of paper or 4 on a 12x12 sheet.
