How To Make A Repurposed Scrabble Tiles Word Wall Art
Growing up we always had scrabble games. And for some reason, we would always misplace some of the wooden scrabble tiles. There were always more missing letter tiles with each game we played.
Materials
- wood frame
- Scrabble tiles
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Glue Gun (You can find it on Amazon)
- A pencil
- A ruler
- Embellishments (like this paper rose) optional
- Canvas Fabric
Instructions
- Gather your supplies.
- Decide on the words you want to use on your scrabble tiles wall art.
- I used words to motivate that would work for a Mother’s Day or Father's Day theme.
- Paint your canvas with acrylic paint.
- Allow to dry completely.
- Apply a second coat and allow to dry at least an hour.
- Place your words how you want them on your canvas, do not glue. This is to make sure they fit how you want them to look.
- Glue down your tiles.
- You can stop there or grab a few leftover embellishments from your craft bin to decorate your canvas.
- Using your glue gun, attach the canvas to the frame.
- Hang and enjoy!
