Free Printable Turkey Paper Craft and Cutting Machine Downloads

This craft with the cute and vibrant colored turkey feathers is perfect for older kids, or even the younger ones if you use your machine to cut out the pieces, it is really a super simple project.

I didn’t use construction paper because I wanted something a little more sturdy, but with just a few supplies this cute little thanksgiving craft came to light.

What do I need to make a Paper Turkey?

  • 65 lb weight cardstock
    • white
    • black
    • orange
    • yellow
    • green
    • orange
    • red
  • Cutting Machine (if you are doing the printable version you can use scissors)
  • Glue Pen
  • Googly eyes (optional I cut the eyes with my machine)

    How To Make A Paper Turkey

    Prep Time: 15 minutes
    Active Time: 20 minutes
    Total Time: 35 minutes

    Paper turkeys are the perfect projects to get little hands busy and to work on some skills like cutting and gluing.

    Materials

    65 lb Weight Cardstock

    Instructions

    For Cricut

    1. Upload the file to your cutting program.
    2. Resize and duplicate to the sizes you want your turkeys.
    3. Remove the pieces.
    4. Glue feathers.
    5. And feet on the back of the turkey.
    6. Glue the eyes onto the front.
    7. The waddle is glued to the nose and glue below the eyes.

    For Printable PD

    1. Use the Pdf template to cut the pieces to the turkey to use as a stencil (you will need googly eyes if cutting by hand). 
    2. Using the stencils you made cut all pieces to the turkey using the images in this post as a guide.
    3. Glue feathers and feet on the back of the turkey.
    4. Glue the eyes onto the front.
    5. The waddle is glued to the nose and glue below the eyes.
