How Do You Make A Paper Bunny

In order to make a paper bunny, you will need colored craft paper that you can find at your local craft store. You will also need common supplies such as glue and scissors to complete the paper bunny.

The directions are easy for anyone to follow. The simple directions make this craft fun and doable for the kiddos. Just have fun and let your creativity flourish as you make your little bunny.

When it comes to the colors and face on the paper bunny, your imagination is your only limit. You can make anything from a white bunny with pink ears to a green bunny with purple ears. This is what makes your bunny unique.

Once finished with this craft, you will have a paper bunny that has so many uses. You can use it a a little puppet or glue it on a cute background to make it a piece of a greater work of art.

Materials

  • Colored craft papers
  • Marker
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Select colored craft papers for the paper bunny craft. Print and cut out the template patterns. Trace the 3 small round shapes and the 2 strips on pink colored craft paper, trace the scalloped border pattern on any colored craft paper as you like and trace the rest of the pattern on a colored paper you’d like for the bunny. Cut out the traced patterns.
  2. Attach the 2 leg patterns on the big round cutout, with the paws facing outwards.
  3. Attach the small round cutout (tail) on either side of the body and also attach the scalloped border pattern on the top side of the body, with the scalloped border facing downwards.
  4. Attach the 2 thin strips along the ear parts of the head cutout. Attach the small round shape (nose in the middle of the head cutout. Attach the 2 round shapes on both sides of the nose (these are blush patterns).
  5. Use a black marker pen to draw the eyes, nose and other details of the paper bunny.
  6. Attach the head cutout on the top side of the body pattern to complete the bunny craft.
