This wristlet keychain that I made with my Cricut maker 3 came out so adorable! I mean who knew a key wristlet could be so cute, not to mention easy to make!
No sewing machine is necessary for this project. All you need is your Cutting machine like the Cricut Explore Air, Cricut Joy, or even Maker 3, some keychain fobs with key ring, faux leather, and a few other supplies to make this Cricut Wristlet keychain.

On these, there was no fraying so I didn’t worry about any sort of finishing for the raw edges. This cute keychain can also be made from a scrap piece of fabric too! If you cut using fabric I would cut about a half-inch wider, about 1/4 inch on each side is going to be your seam allowance, just fold it in and secure it before adding the fobs to the key chain wristlet.

Materials
- Faux Leather
- PVC Leather Sheets
- Key Fobs
- Key Fob Pliers
- Glitter HTV
- California Sunrise Font
Tools
- Cricut Maker 3 or The Maker
- Rotary Blade
- Easy Press Mini
Instructions
- Grab a square from the tools panel.
- You are going to make it into a rectangle that is 11 inches by 1 inch.
- Type out the name that is going to go on it, this also needs to be resized to .75 inches by about 4 inches.
- Change the font to 1 you want to use, I used California Sunrise.
- Place the faux leather onto the strong grip mat, use the brayer to make sure it's stuck down to the mat good.
- When you are ready to choose the material. Click on all material settings and search fabric, click canvas. You will be prompted to put in your rotary blade.
- Press cut, and allow your Maker 3 to do its thing.
- When the machine has finished cutting pull the faux leather from the mat. And cut the name out in vinyl.
- Heat the EasyPress Mini to the highest setting. Place the vinyl name face down on the side of the faux leather with the design and put a sheet of bucher paper or parchment paper on top and firmly press a couple of seconds. Flip and then press again on the other side.
- Using both hands place the ends of the faux leather together.
- Slip the key fob over the faux leather.
- Using the key fob pliers press the key fob closed.
- Now you have an amazing and fun gift to give or even keep for yourself!

I have a large t-shirt press, can this still be done or will it be too much for the faux leather strip?
You will probably need to lower the pressure a bit, and maybe do some testing for the right temprature.
